So I had tivoed this week’s Supernanny episode, the Uva family. And honestly, this was by far one of the most difficult families to tame…I think. Let’s just say I started worshipping Jo Jo. You have a seven year old who cannot wipe his bottom, a mom who uses swear words in front of her kids and a stay-at-home dad who shrugs his shoulder and says “we just gave up on them.” I would have made a u-turn and fled as fast as I could if this was my project. But adorable Jo Jo came up with some kick-ass (sorry Jo Jo) ideas to whip this family into shape. The talk tower was an awesome idea to zip up potty-mouthed kids. The less bad words, the taller the tower of balloons. It was touching to see the dad cry after punishing his kid. I love how Jo Jo makes every family her own and has fun while she is actually cracking the whip. The more flabbergasted she is, the more interesting are her interviews. This is one show that my husband and I watch together. The other being the Fast Money MBA challenge. Now those are kids who’ll score big in nanny Jo Jo’s book!
